This work presents an IoT-based smart campus solution that integrates STM32 microcontrollers and LoRa communication technology to enhance the efficiency of parking management. The proposed system monitors the availability of parking spaces and the overall power consumption on the campus, providing real-time data-driven insights through cloud-based services. The module of parking management utilizes IR sensors to detect the occupancy of a vehicle in a given parking spot. This information is transmitted wirelessly to a central cloud platform via a LoRa network, allowing users to view real-time parking availability updates. The system minimizes the time needed to find parking, thereby reducing traffic congestion, lowering environmental impact, and improving user convenience. The STM32 microcontroller is the core of the system, processing sensor data, and communication, while LoRa technology provides energy-efficient long-range data transmission. It can easily accommodate large campuses and even big urban areas.

摘要
