In the digital forensics industry, the availability of a variety of readily available tools is essential for effective investigation and analysis. To meet this need, this research work presents a flexible Unified Digital Forensic Toolkit (UDFT). The proposed design combines specialized tools for real-time packet inspection, URL security testing, image metadata analysis, data metadata extraction, and email header analysis. The tool offers a common interface for the security professionals and digital science researchers using Python programming. All development methods, creation of theories, and integration into forensic tools are presented in this research work. In addition, long reviews including usability tests, performance evaluations, and research data from real-world usage show that the tool is effective and versatile in several aspects. The proposed work has advanced the field of digital forensics by providing an important framework that will make forensic science easier and more efficient. Apart from filling in existing gaps in forensic tools, forensic toolkits have also laid the foundation for further developments in this field.

摘要
