Research and Application of Working Condition Analysis and Diagnosis Technology of Pumping Unit Based on Electric Parameters

With the rapid development of the Internet of Things and information technology, the digital construction of artificial lift has been carried out in domestic and foreign oil fields. Among them, the digitalization of pumping unit is mainly based on the force parameter mode of collecting dynamometer card, but there are problems that the load sensor needs to be calibrated regularly and the failure rate is high. In this paper, we carry out research on the working condition analysis and diagnosis technology of rod-pumped wells based on electric parameters, and form three core technologies of “electrical parameter inversion dynamometer card, working condition diagnosis and digital measurement”. Experimental results on 1267 field tests of wells show that the average accuracy of the electrical parameter inversion dynamometer card is 93.1%, the average accuracy of working condition diagnosis is 95.5%, and the average accuracy of production and liquid level calculation is above 85%. The intelligent mode of electrical parameters of the pumping unit based on working condition analysis and digital measurement decision is formed, which can greatly reduce the workload of manual fault inspection and oil quantity test, and provides technical support for the digital transformation of oil field machine production.
