In view of the high initial viscosity of conventional gel system, which is easy to cause near well blocking and difficult to deep migration and plugging, a gel system with low initial viscosity, which can delay viscosity increase and release, was developed, and its delay enhancement performance, shear resistance performance, deep migration plugging performance, and deep profile control and flooding performance were evaluated. The research shows that the viscosity of the low initial viscosity delayed viscosity increasing gel system is less than 5 mPa s within 12 h, and the strength after gelation can reach 20,000 ~ 30,000 mPa s, showing a good low initial viscosity delay tackifying performance. Compared with the conventional gel, the shear resistance can be improved by 21.5%, and the 180 day gel strength retention rate after shear exceeds 85%. Under the long core, the deep migration can increase by 20%, and its plugging rate is more than 90%. The combined profile control and flooding experiment is carried out by using the low initial viscosity delayed viscosity increasing gel system, and the oil displacement efficiency is increased by 5.6% compared with the conventional gel system. The system is currently being applied in offshore oil fields, with an average decrease in water cut of 2.5% and an average daily oil increase of 10 m3, achieving good precipitation and oil increase effects. The delayed viscosity increasing gel system has the characteristics of low initial viscosity, shear resistance and deep migration, which has a good application prospect for oilfields that are difficult to inject and need deep plugging.

摘要
