The problem of artificial lifting in low-yield and inefficient wells has brought great difficulties to the exploitation of the Huabei oil field. This paper introduces the application of reciprocating plunger pumps in low-yield and inefficient wells in the Huabei oil field, and discusses its advantages in improving oil production efficiency and reducing energy costs. Reciprocating plunger pump is a kind of wireless lifting technology developed to solve the problems of large stroke loss, high energy consumption and rod breakage, rod detachment and rod tube wear in low-yield oil wells. In order to study the adaptability of reciprocating plunger pump in the Huabei oil field, the working principle, structure and lifting characteristics of reciprocating plunger pump are comprehensively evaluated and analyzed, and intelligent control technology for wireless oil extraction is studied to achieve automatic collection and intelligent control. As of now, two wells have been successfully tested with reciprocating plunger pump in the Huabei oil field, which run stably and show obvious energy saving and cost reduction effect. L70-405 × has stable production for 156 days, and research and application indicate that electric reciprocating plunger pump can effectively solve the problem of oil extraction in low-yield and inefficient wells, providing new technical path for oil field development.
