Application of Intelligent Water Distribution Technology in Low Permeability Oilfield

The oilfield has entered a stage of high water cut development as a whole, with scattered distribution of remaining oil, making it difficult to further tap its potential. By subdividing individual sand bodies, precise water injection can be achieved in each layer, controlling ineffective and inefficient water injection, increasing water content, and ultimately improving development efficiency. The subdivision work of single sand bodies poses higher requirements and challenges to the subdivision process and supporting testing and adjustment process. The research on technologies such as low injection rate testing, high inclination well injection, and real-time monitoring and control of injection has become the development trend of injection technology. The intelligent water distribution process technology is developing towards intelligence, automation, and integration, which can achieve automatic measurement and adjustment of each layer and meet the requirements of segmented water injection. It can greatly reduce the workload of manual measurement and adjustment, thereby greatly improving the qualification rate of layered water injection and ensuring the accurate implementation of water injection plans.
