A Modified Coiffed Contra Harmonic Mean-Based Algorithm for the Elimination of Spike Noise in Images
摘要
The obliteration of spike noise is accomplished using an inventive modified coiffed contra harmonic mean-based skill. The objective of the endeavor is to eradicate the spike noise that develops during conversion or storage. For the algorithm’s execution, a 3 × 3 kernel is used. According to its principles, the algorithm either replaces the pixel with a modified coiffed contra harmonic mean, the mean value of the processed pels’ four neighbors, or by conserving the processed pels. The conclusions drawn from all of the studies show that the recommended filter outperforms the traditional contra harmonic mean. In comparison to a few prior filters, the suggested filter additionally demonstrates higher noise canceling traits with improved information defending when applied over a noisy picture.
