Drawing the Landscape: Analysis the Causes and Prevention Strategies of the Landslide in an Emblematic Case of Convergence of Geological, Climatic, and Anthropic Factors
摘要
The landslide of November 26, 2022 on the island of Ischia in Italy has aroused great interest as it represents a clear example of how geological, climatic and anthropic conditions can converge to generate disastrous events. This study aims to analyze the underlying causes of this landslide through a combination of geological investigations, climate monitoring and assessment of anthropogenic impacts on the surrounding environment. The authors carefully examined the factors that contributed to the occurrence of the event to identify effective strategies to prevent its recurrence in the future. The results of this research provide important indications for risk management and territorial planning in areas subject to similar landslide phenomena.
