This chapter offers an overview of why this volume as a whole deserves a careful read by researchers, supervisors and advocates of Catholic education. The first part of the chapter begins by describing the positive features of a volume dedicated to how best to engage in research of Catholic Education. The central part of the chapter is given over to describing the strengths of the volume as a whole. Rather than presenting a chapter-by-chapter overview of the whole volume in this first chapter, each part will have its own short introduction and summary of chapters within it.
