W-band Folded Waveguide Travelling Wave Tubes (FW-TWT) works as an amplifier in the frequency region of 100–110 GHz. This paper presents the electrical design approach of a FW-TWT in the range 100–110 GHz. The dispersion curve of the structure was theoretically calculated and further designed in the simulation software CST where modification was made in order to attain optimised interaction bandwidth between the dispersion curve and the beam line i.e., the beam wave interaction in the above-mentioned region.
