A helix TWT for K-band 40W has been designed using the conventional design approach for the slow wave structure (SWS). For meeting the required communication parameters such as Output power (> 40W), gain (> 45dB) and electronic efficiency (>12%), A helical slow wave structure (SWS) has been finalized using CST-MWS software and in house developed SUNRAY-1D software.
