Experimental of Pressure-Bearing Effect Evaluation of Temporary Plugging Agent Combination
摘要
The technique of temporary plugging is extensively applied in areas like large-scale multi-cluster fracturing and repeated fracturing in unconventional horizontal wells. However, the current efficiency of temporary plugging is difficult to achieve 100%, which limits the field application. To address this challenge, a 3D printed rock plate was used to simulate the process of temporary plugging, and an experiment was conducted to evaluate the pressure performance of temporary plugging agents, clarifying the pressure-bearing effects of different temporary plugging agents combinations. The results indicate that among the combinations of temporary plugging agents used, the combination of particles, powder and fiber, powder and fiber exhibit better pressure-bearing effects. It can form a thick and very dense temporary plugging zone at the end of fracture, hold up high pressure and maintain it for a long time, fully meeting the conditions for temporary plugging. The combination of particles and fibers can hold pressure and maintain it, but the temporary plugging zone formed is weak and relatively loose. The combination of particles and powder can form a temporary plugging zone which easy to break through, the maintenance time for holding up pressure is short. The test group that only used temporary particles had large permeability in the temporary plugging zone and did not achieve a temporary blocking effect. The research results provide important theoretical foundation for the design of temporary plugging fracturing, enhancing the efficiency of field temporary plugging construction.
