Coda: Critique as Commoning
摘要
This chapter closes our reflections by deepening our understanding of the proposed method of the critique. Having gone through a full analysis of the successive moments (‘In-Against-Beyond’) of the integral critique, having demonstrated its dialectical power, it is time to systematise our reflection. The critique is presented here through a dual movement. On the one hand, the process of commoning of horizons, practices and university spaces set in motion by student and academic movements in their struggle against the capitalist crisis is presented as a specific process of critique. On the other hand, the work of integral critique is articulated in terms of commoning. At stake in the method we have developed is the very possibility of a productive encounter between the movement and the critique, finally giving it the possibility of becoming the actual ‘movement that abolishes the status quo’ of the university in crisis.
