Power Sharing of Load in Microgrid Environment Using Virtual Impedance-Based Droop Control
摘要
The control of parallel connected inverter in microgrid environment is one of the primary issues. The control method for inverters connected in parallel in an islanded microgrid is proposed in this paper. In this control, there is no requirement to evaluate both active power (P) and reactive power (Q). Power sharing between inverters is done through droop control based on virtual impedance. This strategy is more accurate and simpler in comparison with conventional droop control method. SRF-based PLL and virtual impedance loop provides fast response and decoupled active power and reactive power. Conventional droop control gives poor performance with mainly resistive lines. For better controlling this controller requires a voltage and current loop. In this controller, there is no need of communication between inverters. MATLAB Simulink is used for simulation of inverters connected in parallel.
