This research work showcases a comprehensive analysis of the development of a hybrid power plant steady state model using the Power System Simulation for Engineering (PSS®E) software, incorporating both solar photovoltaics (PV) and battery energy storage systems (BESS). The steady state modeling and dynamic performance of the suggested model have been emphasized and scrutinized. The objective of the study is to develop steady state model in PSS®E for carrying out load flow calculations to obtain 100 mw of POI demand and maintain voltage levels between 0.95 and 1 pu at each power plant bus, and based upon the results obtained, further dynamic analysis will be executed by applying LG fault at the POI bus.
