The detection of unidentified water leaks leads to loss of potable water, high repair and maintenance costs, and structural damage associated with water treatment and supply. The implementation of geophones for leak detection becomes crucial at the University of the Armed Forces ESPE, especially in the administrative building, since previous investigations have confirmed the presence of water leaks at night using IoT flowmeters. In response to this problem, zoning of the area has been carried out using the geophone, a tool that has proven to be effective in the accurate identification of leaks. The presence of large leaks was identified on the upper floors, corroborating the 116.14% increase in non-visible leaks in comparison with previous investigations.

摘要
