Nanoplastic particles are released during the production or application of plastic materials, leading to their dissemination into air, soil, and water (Geyer et al. 2017). The effects of MNPs have raised significant concerns due to their prevalence and ability to infiltrate and accumulate within living organisms (Cole et al. 2011).
