This chapter reviews the evolution of China-Korea international investment agreements (IIAs) and their practical implications. It begins with an analysis of the 1992 China-Korea Bilateral Investment Treaty (BIT), which laid the foundation for investment relations, and its significant update in 2007, reflecting modern investment protection standards. Then it explores the China-Japan-Korea Trilateral Investment Agreement, highlighting its role in regional economic integration. Further, it discusses the China-Korea Free Trade Agreement (FTA) (2015), which expanded investment liberalization alongside trade. The chapter also assesses the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), which both countries ratified.  Lastly, it reviews the two investment arbitration cases that are submitted to ICSID on the basis of the 2007 China-Korea BIT.
