Breast cancer detection is often challenging in certain clinical scenarios such as young age, pregnancy, lactation, and high-risk genetic profile. Not only the risk is higher, some of these cohorts are associated with more aggressive disease warranting early detection and intervention. Special care needs to be given to detection, appropriate locoregional and distant staging, treatment, and posttreatment surveillance.
