We study the baryonic B meson decays mediated by \(b \rightarrow c \ell \nu \) quark level transitions in the context of six-dimensional SMEFT operators such as \(Q_{\ell q}^{(3)}\) ,  \(Q_{\ell ed q}\) , \(Q_{\ell e qu}^{(1)}\) , and \(Q_{\ell e qu}^{(3)}\) . We constraint the new physics parameter space using the current experimental observations of the observables \(R_D\) , \(R_{D^*}\) , \(P_{\tau }(D^*)\) , \(F_L(D^*)\) and \(R_{\Lambda }\) . We then explore the impact of the new physics couplings on the observables such as the branching ratio and the lepton flavor non-universality observable of \(\Sigma _b \rightarrow \Sigma _c^{(*)} \tau ^-\bar{\nu }\tau \) and \(\Xi _b \rightarrow \Xi _c \tau ^-\bar{\nu }\tau \) processes.
