Remote Time Calibration System for Electronic Medical Records Based on Satellite Common-Visibility

With the continuous integration of information technology in the medical field, electronic medical record (EMR) systems have become crucial for improving the quality of healthcare services. The accuracy of the timestamp in EMRs serves as the foundation for correct recording and traceability of medical events. However, existing network time synchronization methods fail to meet the high accuracy requirements. Therefore, a remote time calibration method based on satellite co-visibility technology is proposed, along with the corresponding system, to address the high-precision time calibration issue in EMR systems. This method utilizes global navigation satellite systems to achieve time synchronization across different geographic locations, overcoming the instability caused by network latency and load fluctuations in traditional methods. By analyzing the average clock difference at 16-min intervals, NTP measurement data, and 1PPS comparison data, the accuracy and stability of this method are validated. This technology is of great significance in ensuring the reliability of medical information and improving the quality of medical decision-making, making it suitable for rapid promotion and application in the medical field.
