War game simulation is a technique that makes corresponding adjustments based on rules and contingency to eliminate opponents or maintain one's own advantage in response to external environmental changes that one has learned about. Space launch sites are an important part of the space industry. In the face of increasingly heavy space activities, multiple missions appear in parallel at space launch sites, which puts higher requirements on personnel training and test launch mission planning. The origin of war game simulation, the development of war game in the United States, the development of domestic war game simulation and the characteristics of war game modeling technology are studied. According to the characteristics of space activities, this paper puts forward the basic idea of building space war game simulation system, and builds a model of space strategic level war game. According to the new situation and characteristics of the space test and launch mission, this paper studies the war game simulation, designs the space war game, and puts forward the index requirements for the space test and launch mission planning by using the war game simulation model. The significance of space war game modeling and innovative education and training methods for launching missions are considered.
