Simulation Study on Deepwater Installation Testing of Key Components in Underwater Production Systems Based on OrcaFlex
摘要
To address the complex cable stress and equipment landing point deviation caused by various factors such as waves and installation equipment during the deepwater installation of critical components in underwater production systems, a precise installation prediction method based on OrcaFlex software has been introduced. The study employed OrcaFlex to precisely model the deployment of critical components and developed an integrated script for parametric modeling, simulation, and post-processing through the use of the secondary development API and the C++ language. Utilizing this script, a cable tension simulation software was created, capable of real-time prediction of cable tension fluctuations, component landing locations, and six-degree-of-freedom motion during the lowering process. This research offers effective technical support and data references for the precise installation of critical equipment in underwater production systems, significantly enhancing the safety and efficiency of deep-sea engineering operations.
