Quantum computing is transforming conventional computing by addressing intricate problems at unparalleled velocities. This innovation can greatly improve cybersecurity measures. Quantum computing poses substantial challenges to cybersecurity. The chapter looks into the diversion of quantum computing and cybersecurity, providing a detailed insight into the critical analysis of present challenges and advancements. We strive towards delivering a focused examination regarding the complexities brought forward by quantum computing, followed by its prospective for enhancing security protocols. The chapter opens by proposing novel frameworks and methods to identify challenges; through addressing the key gaps found in the existing quantum cybersecurity research. Our contribution gets highlighted while both, theoretical and practical roadmaps are presented for merging quantum computing into cybersecurity, indicating strategies to be put in action for the sake of mitigating risks. This as a result speeds up work discussions regarding quantum cybersecurity, carving a way out for future innovations required to secure quantum as well as classical systems.
