摘要

In this chapter, the intersection between quantum computing and cybersecurity is explored, addressing key concepts, algorithms, challenges, and future perspectives. The overview of Quantum computing and Cybersecurity, and its importance in protecting digital assets, is discussed. The potential implications of quantum computing for cybersecurity are elaborated, examining how quantum algorithms could disrupt widely used cryptographic algorithms and necessitate the need for quantum-safe solutions. Quantum cryptography includes quantum attacks on classical cryptography and implications on RSA and ECC cryptographic protocols. An overview of quantum key distribution protocols is provided, along with real-world implementations and challenges, and strategies for mitigating quantum threats and transitioning to post-quantum cryptography, which discusses algorithms resilient to quantum computer attacks. Also, Quantum-safe cybersecurity solutions, such as hybrid classical-quantum cryptographic schemes and the development of quantum-resistant protocols and standards, are discussed. Real-world case studies illustrate cyber attacks and defense strategies in the quantum age, as well as the influence of quantum computing on sectors such as healthcare, government, and finance. International collaborations and initiatives in quantum computing and cybersecurity are discussed, along with challenges and future perspectives in the field.
