Group decision making (GDM) attempts to reach a collective decision from decision makers differing in preferences. In linguistic GDM have been proposed various methods and tools to model the representations of complex linguistic preferences and to support the information fusion and consensus reaching. This chapter presents a general fusion and consensus framework for the computation of and the implementation of the distributed linguistic information in GDM, and the fusion and consensus methodology are proposed especially for the linguistic distribution assessments and flexible linguistic expressions.
