Research on the Optimization Method of Bending Angle of Single-Bend Screw Drilling Tool Structure in Horizontal Section
摘要
The analysis of the force on the bottom hole assembly (BHA) with a single benthousing in the horizontal section is crucial for optimizing the structure bend angle of drill pipes, optimizing drilling parameters, and maintaining stable horizontal drilling. To this end, this paper comprehensively considers the structural parameters of the horizontal wellbore and single bent housing drill pipes, establishes a mechanical equilibrium model of single bent housing drill pipes using the micro-element method, and analyzes the build-up capability of different structure bend angles of single bent housing drill pipes. The parameters of the single bent housing drill pipes are simulated to balance the build-up effect caused by their structure bend angle and the drop-off effect caused by the BHA weight, ensuring that the inclination and azimuth angles of the BHA remain unchanged during horizontal drilling. The results of this study indicate that when the structure bend angle is consistently oriented towards the high side of the wellbore, optimizing the structure bend angle of the single bent housing drill pipes can maintain the inclination and azimuth angles of the BHA in the horizontal direction, thereby achieving horizontal drilling.
