Automatic brazing is an important research direction of PDC bit production technology recently. The PDC composite sheets and alloy struts are welded by high-frequency induction brazing. Based on the analysis of shear strength and section morphology of the sample, the effects of brazing filler metal, cleaning of faying face, induction brazing method, and post-weld heat treatment on brazing strength were summarized, and appropriate automatic induction brazing process parameters of PDC were proposed. The results show that the faying face cleaning has a great influence on the brazing seam strength. The effective exhaust and slagging method is helpful to improve the brazing seam strength. The right post-welding heat treatment can ensure the strength of PDC brazing seam. Skin effect has a great influence on the strength of the brazing seam. The experimental results provide theoretical support for the realization of PDC bit induction automatic brazing technology.
