Feasibility of Precast Technology in Mass Construction
摘要
The process of construction is crucial and must be handled with attention. There is a critical shortage of housing at the present time. Therefore, we must find a way to speed up the process without increasing costs. However, this speed cannot be attained using standard construction methods. Therefore, we decide to use alternative building techniques. Conventional construction methods involve cast in situ projects, while precast concrete construction entails only assembly of already cast items on site. Due to its shortcomings and to meet the demand for housing, the construction industry abandoned the load-bearing structure. This encouraged the adaption of a reinforced concrete-framed structure to speed up construction. Precast technology, on the other hand, is the next viable option to satisfy the expanding market ambitions. When it comes to speed, durability, modularity, quality control, performance, automation, aesthetics, cost, precision, optimization, and low maintenance, precast manufacturing has an advantage over conventionally framed production. The future of creation is still something we can imagine. Precast will help us envision a modern, secure, dependable, quick, and sustainable future for the development sector.
