Nondestructive Testing of Wind Blade Materials Based on 120 GHz FMCW Terahertz Radar
摘要
Terahertz waves are capable of non-destructive detecting the internal structural information and evaluating structural integrity of glass fiber composite materials. In this paper, a frequency modulated continuous terahertz wave imaging system was used to test a sample of wind blade. The results showed that terahertz imaging can intuitively present the texture of the specimen surface. In addition, terahertz waves can penetrate the specimen to obtain terahertz images inside the specimen, and the internal structure of the specimen can be clearly seen in the image.
