Pregnancy and surgery are common occurrences and it is very important to manage this combination of a physiological hyperdynamic condition with surgical pathology catabolism. Pregnant mother is not a single patient but two patients and a favorable outcome is warranted by the team for the well-being of the two patients, the mother and the fetus.
