In the modern world, a number of sociocultural, socio-educational, sociopolitical, and technology-related variables have created an intriguing and intricate landscape for ELT where concepts, trends, policies, and practices evolve and fade rather swiftly. This has posed a space where English language teachers have to constantly revise their knowledge and skills and keep abreast of developments in their subject area to be able to effectively respond to the evolving needs of modern world language learners. To equip the ELT community with the most recent developments in English language teaching and learning, the chapter authors of this book delved into a number of linguistic, cultural, educational, psychological, social, and technological variables to empower the community to teach English in the multipolar ELT landscape and prepare learners for meaningful global engagement. The following section serves as a nexus between the chapters so we can have the cutting-edge knowledge and research findings at our disposal to diversify our teaching and learning practices and maneuver our ways in ELT settings, having a more inclusive approach in a diverse and dynamic educational environment.
