X-Rays of the Skull
摘要
With the advent of CT scans, the utility of X-rays of the skull has reduced significantly. Nevertheless, x-rays are still requested for medico-legal purposes, evaluation of paranasal sinuses, teeth, post-cochlear implant surgery, as a part of the skeletal survey for metabolic bone disease, congenital anomalies, and skeletal metastasis. Hence, it is important to know at least some of the positions still in use in skull radiography.
