Rabies is amongst the oldest and the most dangerous zoonotic diseases familiar to humankind. It causes deadly body inflammation with no effective treatment. The major fallacy lies in the healthcare sector, where the rabies immune globulin vaccine is improperly administered. Mishandling of the first aid to be given also exists. This paper attempts to discover the various factors hampering the treatment in rabies case management. This paper proposes a concept through design intervention towards the scope of change in the current situation of rabies management which is a digital app-based solution. The ‘minimal viable product’ (MVP) concept is centred around accessible first aid, appropriate vaccine administration and healthcare guidelines. The double diamond design methodology delves into the pain points of rabies patients and doctors to extract valuable opportunity areas. The proposed concept impacts healthcare accessibility in rural as well as suburban areas.

摘要
