This study focuses on the Paraffin Air-Deck (PA-Deck) blasting method, a modified air-deck technique using a paraffin-waxed paper tube to enhance safety and efficiency in urban underground development. It assesses the impact of the PA-Deck method on rock fragmentation using both experimental and numerical analyses. Results show significant reductions in blasting vibration and improved uniformity in rock fragmentation with the PA-Deck method compared to traditional blasting. Numerical analysis corroborates these findings, demonstrating a notable decrease in vibration levels and increased rock fragmentation uniformity. The study offers key insights for improving rock excavation safety and efficiency.

摘要
