The Schlieren as well as oil flow experimental results are presented for Mach 2 flow. Numerical solutions of fluid flow over the spinning cone are performed in transient case as well as steady case using commercially available Ansys Fluent. The effect of spin on local wall pressure, local skin friction, local wall adjacent temperature as well as heat flux are quantified at Mach 2 flow. The transient velocity contour around spinning cone at still fluid case is presented.
