On Shockwave-Vortex Interaction and Configuration in Interblade Channel with PSC
摘要
This paper deals with configuration of shock waves and vortices in an interblade channel with part span connector. Modern last stage turbine blades are usually equipped with a part span connector because of their high aspect ratio. The transonic flow regime past these profiles leads to creation of complex shock wave structures and vortices. Form of generated shock waves and interactions between the phenomena has been studied in experimental investigation and numerical simulations. Numerous interactions have been identified, some of which have effects on the performance of the blade cascade.
