Thoughts on the Evaluation Method of Oilfield Chemicals Effect Based on Digital System

To further strengthen the management of chemical agents in oilfields, this paper conducts a professional and systematic evaluation and analysis of the application and effects of chemical agents throughout the entire lifecycle of the oilfield. It initiates preliminary explorations of methods for evaluating the effectiveness of oilfield chemical agents based on the digital system. Guided by the principle of informatization throughout the lifecycle of individual wells, this project comprehensively reviews the usage and effectiveness evaluation of chemical agents in various stages of the oilfield, identifies the sources and centralizes the management departments of data required for effectiveness evaluation, and provides data support methods and decision-making guidance for the implementation of subsequent measures and the evaluation of chemical agents’ effectiveness. Preliminary explorations have been conducted according to the “two stages” and “eight major modules,” including basic data collection, analysis exploration, and the establishment of data statistical templates. The contents of database construction have been refined, and integration of various data sources and centralization of management departments have been carried out. This method has been applied to integrate and statistically analyze all acidification measures of oil wells in Changqing Oilfield over the past five years, resulting in the formation of the “Analysis and Guidance on Acidification Technology for Old Wells,” which provides good data support and decision-making guidance for the implementation of subsequent oilfield acidification measures (Shen et al. in Math Probl Eng 2021, 2021; Yuan and Zhang, Proceedings of the international field exploration and development conference 2023, pp 1700–1706, 2024; Sircar et al. in Pet Res 6:379–391, 2021; Dinter et al. in Inf Softw Technol 151, 2022; Ren et al. in IEEE Trans Emerg Top Comput 10:9–22, 2022). Through the refinement and improvement of the digital system, basic data related to oilfield chemical agents and statistical sample tables required for effectiveness analysis have been established, along with an overall framework, continuously enhancing the tracking of the application and effectiveness analysis of oilfield chemical agents and strongly supporting the high-quality development of Changqing Oilfield.
