Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is a measure for exploring the ongoing production process with its fullest potential. This research paper examines the integration of OEE with Industry 4.0 to enhance CNC’s productivity at a small manufacturing facility in Central India. Using industrial internet of things (IIoT) customize software, the study highlights the causes of downtime and enhances operational efficiency. An exhaustive literature review pertaining to combined OEE with IIoT tools to boost productivity was carried out. A thorough assessment of the OEE reports from the manual and software-based method was carried out. The results indicate that insufficient machine availability was the primary reason of the poor OEE. Manual data and software-based data were compared on different parameters and results were obtained. It was found that among three OEE components, the performance factor was underscore lowering overall OEE. The study’s findings highlight the significance of IIOT tools in enhancing machine OEE and, consequently, industrial productivity.
