Currently, there is a scarcity of literature regarding unipolar fault grounding location methods, and the content is rather lacking in substance. The purpose of this paper is to comprehensively summarize the latest research progress of unipolar fault location technology in DC distribution network. This paper conducts a systematic classification of the fault location methods within the DC distribution network. It elaborately expounds on the working principles of these methods and dissects their respective limitations as well as potential improvement strategies.
