Freight Demand Models for Indonesia’s National Freight Transport System
摘要
This paper presents initial step in the development of Indonesia’s National Freight Transport Model, called INTRAMOD. INTRAMOD is developed employing the Aggregate-Disaggregate-Aggregate (ADA) model covering three steps, (1) generating PC flows, (2) logistics model, and (3) network assignment model, this paper particularly discusses about steps 1. The double constrained gravity model is applied for the PC generation of freight demand model. Further, its result is successfully disaggregated into firm-to-firm (f2f) flows using the interregional input–output (IRIO) data, making it ready to use in the next step.
