The development of human society in the twenty-first century has entered the era of the knowledge economy. Manifested in knowledge and technology competition, the increasingly fierce competition between countries is essentially human capital competition. The key to effective human capital development and knowledge and technology advancement lies in education. Since China’s reform and opening up, the Chinese government has paid great attention to the prominent role of education in promoting economic development and the building of a harmonious society. Concepts such as “powering the country through education” and “prioritizing education development” have been successively put forward and implemented in the education development plannings.
