Nanostimulants play a crucial role in improving plant productivity and promoting agricultural sustainability. The inadequate and excessive use of agrochemicals and fertilizers on soils to increase crop yields has raised alarms regarding shape sustainability. This chapter highlights different cutting-edge technologies with the potential to produce affordable and innocuous food. Therefore, plant-associated soil microorganisms should be considered when new technologies seek better productivity. Microbial communities and plant cells use different uptaken mechanisms and compartmentalization of nanomaterials (NMs), which could change the bioavailability and effect of these NMs on the targeted crop and ecosystems. It has to be considered that when new benefits are expected, unfavorable effects could also be triggered. Therefore, collateral effects should be considered in long-term experiments under land conditions when nanosized stimulants are used.

摘要
