With in mind applications to the design of easily deployable protection and support structures for Cultural Heritage, in this work we present a continuous model derived from a discrete description of the so-called Kresling tube origami. This discrete model takes into account the energy contributions deriving from the stretching of each triangle constituting the origami.

摘要
