Research on the Color Characteristics of Dragon Patterns in the Embroidery Collection of the Palace Museum During the Qing Dynasty Based on K-means Clustering Analysis and Its Application in the Color
摘要
There are many weaving and embroidery items in the collection of the Forbidden City in the Qing Dynasty, which are rich in colors. However, there has yet to be any collection, analysis, or management of the colors of the dragon pattern. In this paper, we use the K-means cluster analysis method to digitally collect and extract the colors of the dragon pattern in the Qing Dynasty embroideries in the Palace collection and construct a digital resource library of the Qing Dynasty dragon pattern color cards and color schemes. The collated color scheme of the Qing Dynasty dragon pattern embroideries is creatively applied to the Chaozhou embroidery dragon pattern embroideries, showing the colour-matching principle and reproduction method of the Qing Dynasty dragon pattern embroideries. It is intended to provide valuable guidance and reference for designing and producing modern dragon pattern embroideries.
