This chapter summarizes the findings and conclusions from our in-depth analysis of sinter plants, as well as the historical development, significance, and evolution of the sintering process in modern industry. It examines the history of the industry, the impact of technological changes over time on the sintering industry, and some of the factors that have influenced its evolution. In terms of R&D, there is an urgent need for greater innovation and sustainability.
