Humanitarian Logistics and Lessons Learned from COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic has presented unprecedented challenges to global humanitarian logistics, impacting supply chains, transportation networks, and emergency response operations. This comprehensive review examines the lessons learned from the pandemic in the context of humanitarian logistics, drawing from interdisciplinary literature in logistics, supply chain management, public health, and disaster management. By analysing key challenges, responses, and adaptations during the COVID-19 crisis, this paper identifies critical insights and best practices for enhancing the resilience and effectiveness of humanitarian logistics in future pandemics and emergencies.
