In our daily routine, a big deal of tasks performed by the user involve conversation in both listening and speaking. If everything is normal, there is no issue but when it comes in case of common people and differently abled people (hearing impaired and persons with spoken disability), there lies an obstacle among various sections of people. Those persons had to face challenges in conversation or exchange information with normal people particularly the section of people who are unaware of sign communication. To mitigate this issue, the proposed work aims to reduce the barrier between normal people and physically challenged people by designing an embedded system-based device. In this, flex sensors are used to process the data from hearing impaired and person with speaking disability by using British Sign Language from DAQ, and LCD is used to display the output, and speaker is used to produce audio as well. LabVIEW software tool is used for compiling software coding and simulating software design. In this paper, proposed system implements the code in LabVIEW platform for 26 letters and concatenation of letters up to eight alphabets as per British Sign Language. This device can be used with slight modifications in the areas like inclusive education, traffic controlling, and individual support in dealing with people as presenters.
