Today’s education industry is becoming increasingly technologically focussed. Institutions are better equipped thanks to technology to handle new problems. Higher education has access to a variety of data sources that can help in decision-making. Big Data and analytics are only recently being used in higher education. Higher education is one sector where the application of analytics is viewed as being very relevant. Because of rivalry and financial pressures, higher education systems have more involved in implementing Big Data analytics. To address areas with educational relevance, the writers of this work undertook a systematic review. Because of the widespread use of the Internet and the introduction of modern methods of technology, Big Data analytics has recently become a significant research topic. In this study, the research tries to identify the application of Big Data in higher education and the effect of the usage of Big Data analytics in higher education system.
