The study explores the possible challenges in parking accessibility within shopping malls, affecting user experience and traffic flow. A thorough investigation was done regarding issues such as inefficient wayfinding, limited parking space updates, and congestion at entry and exit points. The proposed solution combines License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology and Near Field Communication (NFC) integration to enhance the parking journey. This study delves into the complex issue of parking inefficiencies and explores the difficulties faced by drivers when finding parking spots efficiently. Additionally, the paper emphasizes the importance of linking personal credentials to user profiles for a personalized parking experience and sense of security to the users. Overall, the proposed solution will be able to enhance the accessibility and efficiency of parking in shopping malls, leading to improved user satisfaction and a more enjoyable shopping experience.
